We are looking for a highly qualified Technical Support & Commissioning Technician to serve as the first point of contact for customer support, system commissioning, and coordination with field teams. This role requires technical skills in electrical systems, software, and pneumatics. Experience with vision systems is a strong asset.

Responsibilities:
As a Technical Support & Commissioning Technician at Eagle Vizion, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer technical support calls and requests (remotely and occasionally on-site)

  • Providing remote troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical, software, and pneumatic systems

  • Supporting system commissioning and startup activities, including coordinating site visits

  • Coordinating and communicating effectively with field teams to assist with troubleshooting, installations, and corrective actions

  • Under the supervision of the department manager, working closely with engineering, sales, service, and operations teams to resolve complex issues

  • Clearly documenting support cases, solutions, and best practices

  • Providing training and guidance to customers and field staff when required

  • Maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes

Technical Skills:

  • Technical diploma, college diploma, or equivalent experience in electricity, electronics, mechatronics, automation, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, software configuration/diagnostics, and pneumatic systems

  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams and field technicians

Communication and Languages:

  • Full bilingual proficiency required (spoken and written)

  • Knowledge of additional languages is a strong asset and highly valued given our global clientele

Field Work and Travel:

  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for commissioning and support activities, and to coordinate with field teams

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Assets (Pluses):

  • Experience with machine vision systems or similar imaging technologies

  • Experience in field service or commissioning

  • Familiarity with remote support tools, diagnostic software, and ticket management systems

Personal Skills:

  • Innovative and creative mindset

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Languages:

  • Good knowledge of French and English
