About the Role
The CBPO is responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. This includes conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods, as well as smuggling of contraband substances.
