Join our team as an Inbound Materials Handler, where you'll play a crucial role in managing incoming products to ensure accurate inventory levels and optimal availability. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in tasks aligned with best practices in a safety-focused environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Adhere to safety standards while identifying and reporting unsafe practices. Efficiently unload a variety of merchandise from trailers, containers, and trucks. Verify skid or box counts against Proof of Delivery documentation, noting discrepancies. Organize skids at the dock, handle packing lists, and document any vendor compliance issues. Receive products in assigned batches, including vendor stock, store returns, and small package shipments. Skillfully place products in designated storage locations, utilizing proper equipment to reach heights of up to the building ceiling. Research and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy before closing batches and releasing product into inventory. Follow protocols to retrieve products from reserve locations and manage inventory with or without powered equipment. If experienced, take on a trainer role, guiding new team members and ensuring thorough training documentation is completed. Perform additional assigned duties as needed. SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required: Basic computer skills. Completion of a company-standardized test. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Quick and accurate reading and matching of numerical and alphabetical characters. Desired: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in a warehouse setting, particularly with alphanumeric or RF directed stocking. Familiarity with automotive parts. Advanced computer skills. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
