To plan, direct, produce and deliver original, high quality video and audio content across multiple channels, with a clear focus on video led storytelling. You will lead end to end production from concept to delivery, including hands on filming and editing, and manage freelance crews and editors when required. You will work confidently with a wide range of contributors, from high profile artists and musicians to community participants and commercial stakeholders. The key responsibilities for the Digital Content Producer include; Produce video led content across formats, including series, interviews, podcasts, trailers and social media assets Lead end to end production: development, pre-production, production, post-production and delivery Direct shoots and interviews, shaping narrative, tone and creative approach Film and record content as required, and edit to a high standard for platform ready delivery Brief, schedule and manage freelance crews and editors, ensuring consistent outputs Oversee publishing and maintenance of key video platforms (for example YouTube), including metadata, thumbnails, playlists and version control Work closely with Digital Content (including the Social Media team), Marketing and Press on distribution planning and scheduling, leading the timeline and project management for capture and editing Manage the video content budget, contracts and suppliers within agreed parameters Ensure permissions, releases and clearances are in place and work within editorial and compliance guidelines Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone, look and feel across series and channels Ensure content meets accessibility requirements, including captions and transcripts, and manage suppliers where needed Manage footage and project files, including naming conventions, version control, archiving and delivery of masters Continuously improve production workflows and keep up to date with audio visual trends and platform changes The person specification for the Digital Content Producer are; ESSENTIAL Strong portfolio demonstrating high quality video led content for multiple platforms Proven experience directing and producing content, taking projects from concept to final delivery Confident camera, sound and lighting knowledge appropriate to digital production Strong editing skills and the ability to deliver finished outputs independently Experience managing freelance video teams and editors, including briefing and quality control Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidently di rect contributors across a wide range of backgrounds, including high profile talent, partners, community members and internal stakeholders Strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities Good judgement, including knowing when to escalate sensitive or potentially controversial issues Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds DESIRABLE Experience with rights, releases, clearances and licensing Experience using platform insights and analytics to improve content performance Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent STAFF BENEFITS Annual leave entitlement is 25 days a year plus public holidays (pro rata dependent on hours of work) Pension: Auto enrollment begins three months after start date and payments are matched for the first 5% of employees contribution Factory International offers a travel loan scheme and cycle to work scheme via salary sacrifice All employees have access to an Employee Assistance programme operated by Medicash - Medicash Health Plan: auto enrolment begins after three months service for all eligible employees We are committed to supporting employees with their personal development, regularly offering organisation-wide training such as Carbon Literacy, BSL or Mental Health First Aid, along with department specific and individual training opportunities Factory International have a Staff Development Fund - £200pa accessible to eligible employees who have passed their probation - for tickets, events, training, or development opportunities
