Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky.

Additional Details:

If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.

Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.

Required Skills/Experience: ASD Closures, Cardiac Stent Placement, ECMO, Hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Watchman, Accurate monitoring, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Rotablader / Venous Access, McKesson / Rhythmn interpretation

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Temporary Pacemaker, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Pacemaker Insertion, Thoracentesis, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Angioplasty, Perform EKG lead placement

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

Shift & Scheduling: Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
