We are looking for a motivated individual to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of our inventory. This position plays a crucial role in the supply chain, directly impacting our ability to meet customer demands efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing data entry into our inventory management system, and assisting with full physical inventories. You will be instrumental in identifying trends in inventory accuracy and proposing solutions for improvement. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits of inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Maintain precise inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist in the planning and execution of full physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Ensure all inventory is properly identified, labeled, and stored.
- Work with warehouse staff to ensure efficient stock rotation and prevent stockouts.
- Report on inventory accuracy metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in logistics and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with WMS software is preferred.
- Understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
