Are you looking for a fast-paced role in the heart of New York City? We're hiring energetic Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team. This position is crucial to our operations, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and prepared for timely dispatch to our valued customers. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing to the efficient flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Select products from inventory based on customer orders and pick sheets.
- Assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Package a variety of products, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movement and order fulfillment.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety is required.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this logistics position.
