Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Ensure picked items are free from damage and defects.
- Stage orders correctly for packing and shipping processes.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your designated work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to your supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience, particularly in picking or packing, is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick sheets and product labels accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Must be capable of consistent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform regular lifting tasks, with weights up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse tools and equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and following instructions precisely.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
