Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and meticulously store incoming inventory.
- Efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy in staging and documentation.
- Conduct routine checks on materials for damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) with utmost care and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and related record-keeping tasks.
- Follow all established logistics procedures and safety guidelines diligently.
- Ensure the correct usage and maintenance of all required PPE.
- Support the broader Logistics department in achieving operational targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other common warehouse machinery.
- Forklift certification is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 60 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety best practices and procedures.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and also work autonomously.
- A high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with the principles of logistics operations.
