We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse tasks essential for the efficient operation of our logistics hub. This includes picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to meet daily operational goals and contribute to a positive team environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet performance expectations for speed and accuracy.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Engage in physical tasks including significant lifting and movement throughout the shift.
- Participate in maintaining efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and material handling.
