You will be crucial in ensuring that materials are readily available for production, picking, and shipping operations, contributing significantly to our overall efficiency. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. This position requires significant physical effort, including regular lifting of items up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Stock shelves and put away incoming inventory.
- Prepare materials for shipment or production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics.
- Handle significant physical demands, including frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Good stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with general logistics operations is a plus.
