Our growing logistics facility in Richmond, Virginia, is looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. The ideal candidate is a team player, possesses a strong work ethic, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities will include operating warehouse equipment, moving and organizing inventory, and preparing orders for delivery. We emphasize safety in all aspects of our operations, and all employees are required to use appropriate PPE and follow established safety protocols. This position requires the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and requires standing and walking for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals in our logistics hub.
- Assist in training new associates as needed.
- Involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Proficiency in reading and understanding labels and instructions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
