We are looking for a diligent and experienced Material Handler to join our growing logistics team in Dallas, Texas. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. This includes operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring inventory is stored correctly. Your role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics network. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere to strict Safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and arrange inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any necessary maintenance.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stocktakes.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Be prepared for manual Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, when required.
- Follow all logistics and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including frequent Lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
