We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in San Francisco, California. In this critical role, you will operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to perform all duties with the utmost care and precision. This position is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and securely.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking or packing.
- Handle occasional heavy Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure all movements are conducted with the highest regard for safety and efficiency in our logistics operations.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safe material handling techniques.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to wearing PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
