Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in San Francisco, California! In this essential role, you will be the cornerstone of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their items accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position is key to our logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting and stock replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet daily picking and packing productivity goals.
- Perform occasional heavy Lifting tasks, up to 30 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
