Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to track picked items.
- Verify product details and quantities before moving to packing.
- Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and the proper use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock put-away as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics operations and order fulfillment processes.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
