Responsibilities:
- Read pick tickets or use RF scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the accuracy of items picked against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Move picked items to the packing station or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Report any damaged items or discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Practice safe lifting techniques when handling products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for using scanning equipment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
