We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is vital for the efficient movement of materials and products within our logistics hub. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack merchandise. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting various warehouse operations. You will conduct pre-shift inspections of your forklift to ensure it is in safe working order. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is paramount, and you must consistently adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires precision and a keen eye for detail to prevent accidents and damage to products and equipment. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is highly desirable. You will be expected to lift items occasionally when not operating the forklift.
