Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and retrieve items from high shelves and storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure accurate movement of goods within the logistics network.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and using PPE correctly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
