As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods are handled with care and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks for moving materials.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and PPE compliance.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
