Our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Los Angeles, California, is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse infrastructure and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and the safety of our workforce. We value technical proficiency and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
- Conduct safety inspections of all warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols, including safe lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with warehouse equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics operations is a plus.
