To succeed in reaching our targets, we are seeking committed colleagues who can stand behind our core values curious, authentic and useful.Job DescriptionAs Product Owner for Brainlab Functional & Stereotactic Neurosurgery products, you will make an impact on the world’s leading medical applications for functional neurosurgery and stereotactic procedures! You will be part of an international multidisciplinary highly skilled team developing solutions for a wide range of clinical procedures like DBS, SEEG, LITT.Working within the Agile Large Scale Scrum (LESS) framework, you will be in close interaction with our Product Managers and R&D, responsible for prioritizing and clarifying our development pipeline. With your strong moderation & conflict management skills, you will moderate synergetic and conflicting requirements of our broad portfolio and propose and challenge priorities. With support from R&D Subject Matter Experts and Product Managers you are defining top level customer requirements and breaking these down in product features & deliverables, maximizing the outcome of our powerful development teams.Your tasks include:Product Vision: Communicate and facilitate the creation of the product vision together with product managers, stakeholders and experts.R&D Roadmap: Translate conflicting requirements & priorities into synergetic features and R&D developments. Prioritize and maintain the Functional & Stereotactic Neurosurgery solutions product backlog. Trigger and catalyze clarification on priorities, ensuring the backlog reflects the most valuable features and enhancements for the product in alignment with the overall business strategy, customer and technical requirements and regulatory compliance. Create/ facilitate transparency & clarity on current progress via backlogStakeholder Management: Interact with the Functional & Stereotactic R&D core team and other R&D teams providing solutions for the functional portfolio, agile coaches, product management, neurosurgeons and industrial cooperation partners facilitating communication and alignment.Trigger continuous improvement by demanding feedback and monitoring the product performance in the market.Qualifications5+ years experience within the medical device industry and/or within the Functional Neurosurgery domainStrong motivation for understanding R&D, product management and clinical requirementsVery good moderation & conflict management skills for aligning and prioritizing conflicting or overlapping requirementsAbility to derive own product vision in alignment with product management, customer needs, business value and R&D visionA deeply analytical mindset and creativity to develop extraordinary solutionsWell-organized and clearly structured, agile working styleExceptional communication & documentation skillsAbility to understand structure and dependencies of complex medical devicesExperience with agile development concepts like SCRUM / LeSS is a plusExperience in development or product management of medical devices including software is a plusClinical knowledge in areas of functional neurosurgery procedures is a plusFluent in written and spoken English, German is a plusAdditional InformationA mutually-supportive, international teamMeaningful work with a lasting impact on medical technology30 vacation days, plus December 24th and December 31stFlexible working hours as well as hybrid work model within GermanyBike leasing via cooperation partner "BikeLeasing"Parking garage and safe underground bike storageAward-winning subsidized company restaurant and in-house cafesVariety-rich fitness program in our ultra-modern 360m2 company gymRegular after work, team, and company eventsComprehensive training and continuing education opportunitiesReady to apply?
