Our Mission: To hire a Master of Business Architect and process. You will be responsible for developing and documenting current operational reality, designing our current state, future state, and creating the actionable plans to bridge the gap. Your analysis will be the fundamental for strategic investment and a critical guardrail against misaligned projects.

The Challenge: We have strategies, processes, and systems. Your task is to build model, use it to find inefficiencies and opportunities.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
You will be responsible for the following professional work:
*1. Architecture Development & Strategic Plannin*g
* Business Architecture: Focus on business strategy, processes, and organization. Develop capability maps and value streams.
* Data Architecture: Define how data is managed, stored, and accessed from a business perspective.
* Application Architecture: Provide blueprints for individual systems and their interactions as they support business functions.
* Technology Architecture: Describe the underlying IT infrastructure needed to enable the business.
* Create Roadmaps: Develop plans that outline the steps for transitioning from the current state to the desired future state. These plans must include timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
*2. Discovery, Analysis & Documentation*
* Discover and Capture As-Is Architecture:
* Collect existing EA products: strategic directives, org structures, goals, existing processes, system inventories, etc.
* Identify gaps in existing documentation.
* Analyze collected materials to model processes, identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
* Examine the current data model, data sources, and flow.
* Understand the current organizational hierarchy, roles, and responsibilities.
* Pinpoint where the current architecture hinders efficiency, agility, or value.
* Create clear documentation and visual aids (diagrams, specs, process flows).
* Work with cross-functional teams (IT, business leaders, SMEs) to gather information and validate findings.
* Keep the "as-is" documentation current.
* Discover and Capture As-Planned & Future State Architecture:
* Review existing plans for accuracy.
* Perform gap analysis between current plans and the desired future state.
* Analyze root causes if current architecture isn't delivering results.
* Pinpoint areas for improvement and new capabilities needed.
* Document alignment between strategic goals and project initiatives.
* Establish the business problem/opportunity and link it to project workstreams.
* Define for project teams how their work impacts strategic objectives.
*3. Communication, Collaboration & Guidance*
* Conduct Meetings: Organize and lead effective EA working group meetings. Set agendas, facilitate discussion, and follow up with minutes and action items.
* Disseminate Information: Proactively share EA information (business/IT landscape, standards, guidance) throughout the organization to enable alignment and decision-making.
* Develop Guidance: Create a comprehensive suite of guidance documents and standards within the Business, Data, Application, and Technology architecture domains.
*Tools & Systems Proficiency (Required for Success)*
* Required: Advanced skill with Microsoft Visio for diagramming and modeling.
* Required: Experience with business architecture or process modeling tools such as ARIS.
* Microsoft PP and Excel
* Critical Advantage: Working knowledge of Appian or similar low-code/BPM platforms to effectively bridge business design with solution implementation.

What Happens Next:
* Stage 1: Portfolio review. We assess the quality and relevance of your submitted work.
* Stage 2: Practical case study interview. You will be given a business scenario and asked to outline your approach to discovering the "as-is" state and identifying key gaps.
* Stage 3: In-depth interviews focusing on your methodology, architecture, collaboration skills, and experience with tools like Visio, ARIS, and Appian.
Pay: $160,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
