Security Guard Training

Paladin Security is excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in security. We are currently seeking motivated candidates who do not have a current valid BC Security License. This position is designed to provide required training and certifications at no cost to individuals who are not yet licensed, but are eager to enter the security industry. This free training is provided to selected candidates based on a commitment to at least 6-months full-time work or 9-months of part-time work with Paladin. 

We provide the Basic Security Training (BST) certification at our office in Burnaby. The course is one week (40 hours) and runs from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. 

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr - $23/hr starting, depending on what site or program you work in.

Many of our sites are accessible by transit, but it's an asset if you have your own vehicle and a Class 5 BC Driver's License It's also an asset if you already have other related certifications or clearances, such as Occupational First Aid Level 2 (OFA2), or Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC).
