Core Responsibilities:
- Draft and enter journal and accrual transactions.
- Execute bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and update the general ledger.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Design and oversee systems for monitoring and collecting overdue accounts.
- Contribute to cash flow planning and analysis.
- Liaise with third-party auditors.
- Support annual tax filings and financial statement preparation.
- Assemble working papers and compile financial reports.
- Carry out monthly performance assessments.
- Ensure quality standards and effective execution of critical initiatives.
- Establish reporting frameworks and internal controls for departments and partner organizations.
- Partner with supervisors and managers from diverse business units.
- Aid in building new software tools and operational systems.
- Facilitate activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications & Expertise:
- CPA credential or actively pursuing it.
- 2-4 years in accounting positions.
- Solid foundation in accounting standards and methodologies.
- Background in public accounting is a plus.
- Proven performance history backed by solid references.
- Sharp analytical and issue-resolution capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter who thrives with limited oversight.
- Adept at multitasking, prioritizing workloads, and delivering on time.

Compensation & Schedule:
- Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per annum.
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Type: Full-time, in-person.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Residency in the Greater Toronto Area is required.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Valid driver's license from Canada or the United States
