*Role and Responsibilities*
Direct Support Professionals purpose is to implement goals of participants and to follow all plan of cares and protocols approved by the State of Wyoming.
· Will maintain supervision requirements for each participant in accordance to participant IPCs.
· Will implement and track goals of participants served in various settings such as in the home and in the community.
· Will follow all participant served Individualized Plan of Cares, Positive Behavior Support Plans, and or relevant protocols in place.
· Will follow and comply with all company policies and procedures.
· Will accurately document such as incident reporting, internal communications with team members, tracking, etc.
· Will assist participants with daily living skills, community integration, social skills, and healthy living lifestyles.
· Will work as part of a team with both internal team members and external entities.
· Will complete all tasks expected on shift such as cleaning, chores, cooking, transportation, etc.
· Will monitor and document participant behaviors and activity.
· Will assist in the storage and administration of participant medications. May have to monitor calories, fluid intake, vitals, bathroom usage, etc.
· Will participate in Emergency Plan Drills and run emergency plan drills with participants.
· Will hold participant appearance to a high standard and assist participants with grooming/shaving and ensure participants are always presenting themselves in a socially acceptable manner.
· Will uphold and respect participant rights. Will not restrict any participant rights unless outline in a participant’s IPC.
· Will promote successful community integration with participants.
· Will actively participate in grocery shopping, meal planning, etc.
· Will assist participants in medical and personal appointments and assist participants in keeping track of appointments.
· Will monitor environments participants are in for any health and safety risks. Will ensure there are no hazards that could cause danger or harm.
*Qualifications and Education Requirements*
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must maintain current CPR/MAT certifications (can train internally)
· Must pass all background screening requirements.
· Must have reliable vehicle that maintains valid insurance and registration to assist with transporting participants.
Must have a valid drivers license and social security card.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
* Cheyenne, WY 82009: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
