About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to join our Manufacturing team, supporting key production processes in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role involves operating and monitoring process and frying equipment, carrying out essential tasks such as line changeovers, mixing, flavouring, QA checks, and oil management.

You’ll play a vital part in maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring compliance with COSHH and Lock Off procedures. With a strong focus on performance, you'll help us meet output, efficiency, and waste reduction targets while accurately completing all required documentation.

What will you be doing?

• Operate and monitor process and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth line changeovers in packing, palletising, mixing, flavouring, and product inspection.

• Conduct quality checks including weight, moisture, and FFA tests, ensuring all products meet specifications at every stage of either process or packing.

• Carry out routine cleaning, end-of-shift procedures, and support shutdown processes to high hygiene standards.

• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time, including quality, cleaning, and production records.

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including COSHH and Lock Off protocols, promoting a safety-first culture.

• Support continuous improvement by identifying and addressing issues, contributing to key projects and performance targets.

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment (ideally within food or FMCG).

• Confident operating machinery and carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.

• Strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards, including COSHH and Lock Off procedures.

• Comfortable completing accurate paperwork and documentation in line with quality standards.
