Your Role and Responsibilities As a Network Solutions Architect, you will design, implement, and manage robust computer networks that ensure seamless and secure communication within organizations. Your key responsibilities will include: Designing and deploying network infrastructure, configurations, and equipment including routers and switches (5 years experience required) Setting up data security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backups (3 years experience required) Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and installing necessary upgrades and service packs Providing on-site tech support to customers and clients Consulting with clients to recommend tailored network solutions Testing and installing new computer systems, hardware, software, and applications Creating engineering design packages to integrate new processes into existing systems Collaborating with clients, technical support teams, and network providers to ensure high network quality Preparing reports on network status for key stakeholders Required Technical and Professional Expertise Experience in developing and installing network infrastructure, configurations, and equipment such as routers and switches (5 years minimum) Experience in implementing data security systems, including firewalls and antivirus software (3 years minimum) Strong background in performing regular network maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading systems (5 years minimum) Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Proficiency in additional ERP systems, including Tier-2 ERP and MES systems such as SAP or Oracle, to support varied client needs Knowledge of industry-specific packages and solutions to create customized client solutions Experience with emerging technologies like cloud-based ERP systems or IoT integrations to deliver innovative solutions IBM is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
