Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Pick and fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Execute all lifting tasks with proper safety techniques and ensure the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
