We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our facility. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and proficient in operating various types of forklifts. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with company Safety guidelines. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also part of your duties. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform Lifting as part of your tasks. A valid forklift certification is a must, and experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. We emphasize a secure workplace, and adherence to all PPE requirements is non-negotiable. This role is a key component of our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Follow all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Adhere to all Logistics operational procedures.
- Perform manual Lifting as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including manual Lifting.
- Familiarity with PPE and its importance.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
