Job Summary:
We are hiring a dynamic Distribution Center Associate for our growing facility in Houston, Texas. This role is essential to our logistics operations, requiring individuals who are detail-oriented, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately receive and process incoming inventory, checking for discrepancies and damage.
  • Organize and stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking and packing items for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and proficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Ensure the warehouse premises are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Strictly follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Wear and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
  • Perform regular Lifting of inventory items, with capabilities to handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist in the preparation and loading of outgoing shipments.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals in our fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role that includes frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as operational needs dictate.
