Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Picker/Packer in Baltimore, Maryland. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact our logistics success and customer satisfaction. You will utilize RF scanners or pick lists to gather products, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected. Following the picking process, you will meticulously pack the items, ensuring they are secure, properly labeled, and ready for dispatch. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety. We are looking for energetic individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively. Experience with order fulfillment processes and warehouse Safety standards is a significant plus. We provide a safe work environment and expect all team members to adhere to all established Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Select correct items and quantities from warehouse inventory.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
