We are looking for a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Atlanta, Georgia distribution center. This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing inventory, and optimizing logistics processes to meet operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and material handlers.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Train new staff on warehouse procedures, Safety protocols, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Must have experience overseeing tasks involving significant Lifting.
- Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to develop and implement efficient operational plans.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
