Our rapidly growing logistics company is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support our operations in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will play a vital part in the efficient flow of goods through our state-of-the-art distribution center. You will handle a variety of tasks essential to order fulfillment and inventory management, ensuring our clients receive their products on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, identify, and unload incoming materials and products.
- Sort and place inventory into appropriate storage locations.
- Retrieve, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Perform regular housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and hazard-free workspace.
- Participate in team efforts to meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is utilized throughout the shift.
- Be prepared for tasks involving frequent Lifting and movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Good spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics best practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety.
