We are seeking an Order Picker for our Nashville, Tennessee distribution center. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently for timely shipment. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse using RF scanners to locate and retrieve items, contributing directly to the success of our logistics and e-commerce fulfillment. The ideal candidate is energetic, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for handling a variety of products and maintaining the integrity of inventory. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members. Your accuracy and speed directly impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing and staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station and warehouse environment.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Meet performance targets for picking speed and accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisory staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly.
- Willingness to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics workflow and safety practices.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and upholding safety standards.
