We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our bustling warehouse in Detroit, Michigan. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your efficiency and attention to detail are paramount to ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will be handling a variety of materials, from raw goods to finished products, and ensuring their safe and accurate placement within the warehouse. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. We prioritize a strong commitment to workplace safety and expect all employees to adhere strictly to established protocols. This includes the mandatory use of PPE , such as safety vests and steel-toed boots. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Moving inventory to and from racks and storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Performing pre-operation inspections on forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Supporting team members in various warehouse tasks as needed.
