We are looking for energetic Picker/Packers to join our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse team! This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse using pick lists or scanners, carefully packing them according to our standards, and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. Safety is our utmost priority, and all team members are expected to follow strict Safety guidelines and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position demands attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order documentation.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE at all times.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Communicate any picking or packing discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory counts as directed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment quotas and logistics goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Comfortable with manual tasks and Lifting objects up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
