Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order tickets.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine checks on equipment before use.
- Communicate any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment accuracy and speed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of manual dexterity and frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices.
