Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This leadership role is vital to the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations and overall logistics strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, ensuring productivity, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Oversee receiving and inventory management processes.
  • Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness within the warehouse.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
  • Motivate the team to achieve performance targets and ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Handle occasional lifting requirements and oversee tasks involving significant lifting.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE requirements.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
