We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Physical Therapist* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life for diverse patient populations. The Physical Therapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
*Responsibilities*
* Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
* Develop and implement individualized *care plans* targeting specific patient goals in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and neurorehabilitation.
* Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to promote healing and restore function.
* Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance techniques.
* Document treatment sessions accurately using *EMR systems* while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.
*Qualifications*
* Valid New York state licensure or certification as a *Physical Therapist*.
* Proven experience in outpatient clinics is preferred
* Strong knowledge of *anatomy*, *physiology*, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
* Experience with developing comprehensive *care plans* for diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and neurorehabilitation.
* Proficiency in using *EMR systems* for documentation and patient management.
* Ability to perform detailed assessments in both inpatient and outpatient environments with a focus on improving mobility and functional independence.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
