ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Uphold high safety standards while operating equipment and identifying unsafe practices.
- Efficiently unload diverse merchandise from trucks, trailers, or containers.
- Match shipment counts with Proof of Delivery and report any discrepancies.
- Organize merchandise on the dock and manage Vendor Compliance documentation.
- Receive and stock products from various sources, including vendors and small package shipments.
- Safely store products in designated locations, utilizing powered equipment when needed.
- Investigate discrepancies, make necessary corrections, and update inventory accurately.
- Follow instructions to retrieve and reposition products as required within the warehouse.
- Experienced team members may assist in training new hires for success.
- Participate in additional tasks as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required: - Basic computer skills - Ability to pass the company-standardized test - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - Quick and accurate reading of numerical and alphabetical characters Desired: - High school diploma or GED - Prior warehouse experience, particularly with alphanumeric or RF-directed stocking - Familiarity with automotive parts - Advanced computer skills - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are highly desired.
