Your Team Awaits: The Developer Experience Organization's EASE Mobile Release team ensures secure and efficient release pipelines, enabling the successful deployment of iOS and Android features to millions of Capital One customers. We oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for more than 50 mobile development teams, managing everything from build and testing to release preparation and implementation. We focus on optimizing build speeds and pipeline reliability to guarantee the success of every feature release. Your Responsibilities: Manage Mobile Releases:
Oversee the promotion of iOS and Android Mobile Application releases.
Maintain Mobile Infrastructure:
Ensure the health of Capital One Mobile Platform's CI/CD Pipelines.
Enhance Mobile Testing:
Collaborate with Engineering, Testing, and Product teams to implement tools and automation for Mobile Testing.
Ensure Security Compliance:
Demonstrate expertise in vulnerability management, compliance frameworks, and security scanning tools in cloud environments.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work with product managers, architects, platform engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases.
Drive Automation:
Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go, along with container orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Be a Passionate Tech Advocate:
Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in technology communities, and mentor fellow engineers.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering (no internship experience).
2+ years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
2+ years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Firebase Test Lab.
2+ years of experience with container orchestration (Docker or Kubernetes).
2+ years of programming/scripting experience (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, Ruby).
2+ years of experience in Agile Development Practices.
Please note that Capital One will not sponsor work authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum annual salaries for this role, based on location, are as follows: McLean, VA: $161,800 - $184,600 for Senior Software Engineer. For other locations, the salary will align with the corresponding regional pay range, as outlined in your offer letter. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
