Technical Support Analyst

Job Title: Technical Support Analyst

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months (possible extension or conversion)

Overview:

This role ensures production stability, incident resolution, and system improvements while collaborating globally with teams in NY, HK, Mumbai, Belfast, and Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
• Manage and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Improve application stability, efficiency, and automation through key initiatives.
• Support change management, deployments, and onboarding of new applications.
• Participate in shift rotations (7:00 am–7:00 pm EST) and weekend support.

Experience with:

• Linux & shell scripting
• SQL & databases (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL)
• Windows OS & Office troubleshooting
• Monitoring & deployment tools (e.g., ITRS, uDeploy)
• Programming/scripting: Python, Perl, Java, HTML
• Basic networking & traffic analysis
• Familiarity with incident/problem management processes & ticketing tools.
