*Overview*
We are seeking a part time/Saturday dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to patients across various age groups, with a focus on pediatrics and early intervention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ communication and swallowing abilities while working within a collaborative healthcare environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
* Provide speech therapy interventions for pediatric patients, including early intervention programs
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and medical professionals, to optimize patient outcomes
* Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
* Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and exercises to support ongoing improvement
* Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
* Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and participate in ongoing professional development
*Qualifications*
* Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
* Experience working with pediatric populations preferred, especially in school or early intervention settings
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, patient assessment methods, and medical terminology
* Familiarity with anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing functions
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams
* Knowledge of early intervention strategies is highly desirable
* Ability to provide compassionate patient care and adapt therapy approaches to individual needs

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
