Youll get hands-on experience building, supporting, and troubleshooting the networks that keep our production labs, data centers, and cloud systems connected. Every cable you connect, every configuration you apply, and every problem you solve helps our teams move fast, innovate boldly, and launch satellites that redefine whats possible in space./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless systems/liliSupport network monitoring and troubleshooting efforts across offices, production labs, data centers, and cloud environments/liliHelp configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security controls under the guidance of senior engineers/liliAssist with documenting network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures/liliSupport connectivity and access for corporate IT systems, lab equipment, and mission-critical operations/liliParticipate in routine network maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities/liliEscalate complex or critical issues to senior engineers, providing clear observations and documentation/liliLearn and apply best practices for network performance, security, and reliability/liliCollaborate with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to support operational needs and technical projects/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulli5+ years of experience in the Networking Architecture and Design, Network Implementation, and Network Test Automation/liliStrong foundation in IT network and systems methodology (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support)/liliIn-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, TCP/IP)/liliExperience with logical design models (L2/L3, VPC, VDC, Datacenter Zones, Spanning Tree, VRF, VTP, VLANs, cabling)/liliWorking technical knowledge of network control protocols (QoS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, TrustSec)/liliRelevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, ITIL Foundations v3, etc.)/li/ulh3Nice to Have/h3ulliBachelors degree (or equivalent) in computer science or engineering/liliTechnical certifications (i.e., Network+, MCSE, Security+)/li/ulh3Compensation and Benefits:/h3ulliBase salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 and equity in the company/liliSalary will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level/liliComprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, paid parental leave, and many other perks/li/ulpIf you dont meet 100% of the preferred skills and experience, we encourage you to still apply!
