About the Position
The OT Network Administrator is responsible for leading the maintenance and support of all District OT network servers, software applications, communications infrastructure, and network management systems. This role ensures the reliable Operations of the District's systems, enabling staff to perform their duties. This OT Network Administrator is also responsible to ensure accurate, secure and timely information necessary to support and advance the District's mission and goals.
Open until filled, first applicant review will be March 15, 2026. This position is non-remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Configure and manage the District's OT networking infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security across two distinct OT environments. Oversee IT/OT convergence processes, manage interconnections between IT and OT systems, and maintain security across the OT infrastructure. Configure and manage OT communication systems using industry best practices to ensure reliable connectivity between OT systems and equipment. Monitor and execute security controls to protect OT networks, including conducting threat assessments and vulnerability scans, recommending security measures, installing monitoring devices, and maintaining appropriate patch and software update levels. Reduce security risks in District OT systems by delivering information security training and promoting awareness of security standards, policies, and best practices. Assist in identifying and remediating IT/OT security vulnerabilities and deficiencies. Maintain comprehensive inventory of District OT assets including equipment, servers, software, licenses, and certificates through database tracking and monitoring for unauthorized use. Serve as key member of the Security Incident Response Team, executing the Cyber Security Incident Response Plan through network security analysis, documentation, evidence collection, and remediation activities. Support the District's strategic technology initiatives by evaluating hardware and software solutions and providing recommendations. Work with vendors/contractors on implementation, upgrades, support agreements, and troubleshooting. Must have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate and coordinate cross-departmentally to meet business needs. On-Call/ after-hours support services as needed or scheduled to support critical systems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Position Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science, plus six years of experience in IT positions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires in-depth knowledge of network administration, including management of network infrastructure, IP addressing schemes, DNS configuration, and network segmentation/subnetting. Must have hands-on experience with OSPF/BGP routing protocols, firewall management, and server virtualization technologies.
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: Must have a valid Driver's license. Cisco Certification Network Associate (CCNA) or CCNPE preferred but not required.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Windows environments, word processing, scripting/programming languages and/or network administration, virtual computing, IP addressing, and DNS. Fortigate and/or PaloAlto Firewall experience preferred. Juniper experience preferred.

Insurance Benefits
Medical, Dental and Vision Lewis County PUD offers medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage to eligible employees and their dependents. This coverage begins the first of the month after the month hired. These benefits are 100% paid by the Disritct.
Retiree Coverage We also offer retiree medical, dental and vision benefits for those eligible.
HRA VEBA (Voluntary Employee Benefit Association) Plan HRA VEBA plan is a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) which employees are enrolled into upon their hire date. Employees contribute, through payroll deduction, tax-free contributions based on specific groups as outlined below. The District matches 1% of bi-weekly gross pay.
Union Groups:
Age 35 years & Under : $40 per pay period Age 36 years thru 49 years: $60 per pay period Age 50 years & Older: $100 per pay period
Non-union Group:
2% of bi-weekly gross pay
Life Insurance and Accidental Dismemberment (AD&D) Benefits
Group Coverage - District Paid
$75,000 life and AD&D for eligible employees $1,000 life for eligible dependents
Supplemental Life and AD&D is available for individual purchase. Short-term Disability Benefit Lewis County PUD provides short-term disability coverage to replace a portion of income while on an approved, non-work-related illness or injury. This benefit pays 70% of the employee's regular wages while on approved leave.
Long-term Disability Benefits Base Coverage - District Paid
66 2/3% of base monthly salary earnings Retirement Benefits
Washington State Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) The District is a member of PERS and participation is mandatory for employees in eligible positions. Both the employee and the employer make contributions to the PERS system. Employee contributions are made on a tax-deferred basis.
Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) This is a supplemental retirement savings program that allows control over the amount of pre-tax salary dollars you defer as well as the flexibility to choose between multiple investment options.
Other Benefits
Person Leave (PL) The District affords eligible employee's personal leave. The leave can be used for vacation, illness, or any other absence needed from work, as requested. PL is accrued bi-weekly as outlined below: Holidays Eligible employees are entitled to eleven paid holidays:
