What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Technology, this role leads a team of subject matter experts responsible for the end-to-end delivery of email communications to clients and advisors within a Wealth Management environment.
The role supports the implementation and ongoing use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure successful adoption, execution, and continuous improvement of the platform. Working closely with marketing partners across multiple lines of business, the successful candidate optimizes email creative, identifies opportunities to enhance the overall email program, and enables the delivery of dynamic, automated, and personalized communications.
This position requires strong hands-on HTML development skills, practical Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, and a deep understanding of email channel constraints, best practices, and compliance requirements.
What will you do?
Own the end-to-end email campaign process, including deployment, HTML email coding, and traffic management of intake tasks for junior team members
Establish and maintain a comprehensive email campaign calendar across multiple lines of business to ensure effective resource planning and intake management
Segment audiences using data extensions and AMPscript
Build and execute Journey Builder activities and related automations in collaboration with senior team members and developers
Maintain campaign performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting
Troubleshoot ad-hoc deliverability and execution issues
Provide coaching, skills development, and career support to direct reports
Maintain project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Wrike) to manage tasks, timelines, and collaboration across stakeholders and time zones
Requirements What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder
Experience developing email campaigns using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript
Working knowledge of email compliance and privacy regulations (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Experience with HTML development, APIs, and SQL
Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer, Consultant, and/or Administrator)
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript)
Exposure to other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud)
