As a certified Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack pallets and materials.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials from receiving areas to storage locations and vice versa.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support general warehouse operations and assist other team members.
- Ensure accurate placement and stacking of goods to prevent damage or hazards.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and manual material handling when required, using safe techniques.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and following all safety regulations.
