Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately and efficiently in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders based on customer requirements and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and logistics.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Ensure all tasks involving lifting are performed safely, utilizing proper techniques and equipment when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance expectations.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
