We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring all outgoing shipments are accurately processed, documented, and prepared for dispatch. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in verifying order accuracy, managing shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery. This position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. You will be expected to maintain organized shipping areas, track inventory related to outgoing shipments, and communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any shipping discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with shipping software and understanding of shipping documentation is a plus. This role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to handling and preparing goods for transit. You will play a vital part in our supply chain operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through reliable and efficient shipping services. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and label shipments for dispatch.
- Verify outgoing orders against shipping manifests.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Track shipments and resolve any shipping-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting.
- Familiarity with Safety protocols and PPE.
